The Opportunity
We are hiring for a high-impact leadership role to drive the Learning & Development and Centre of Excellence (COE) agenda for a large manufacturing organization. The role focuses on transforming workforce capability, strengthening leadership pipelines, and building a high-performance learning culture across plant operations.
Key Mandate
Architect and drive end-to-end L&D strategy aligned with business growth
Build and institutionalize a robust COE framework
Partner with Plant Leadership to enhance productivity and workforce readiness
Develop future-ready talent pipelines across technical and leadership roles
Core Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership
Define and execute L&D vision for plant operations
Act as a strategic advisor to Plant Head and HR leadership
COE & Capability Architecture
Build competency frameworks, career pathways, and COE structures
Drive large-scale capability and skill transformation initiatives
Manufacturing Capability Building
Lead technical training, multi-skilling, and certification programs
Strengthen shop-floor productivity and quality mindset
Leadership & Succession
Design leadership development frameworks
Build succession pipelines and HiPo programs
Performance & Impact Measurement
Track training effectiveness through ROI and productivity metrics
Use analytics to enhance learning outcomes
Innovation & Digital Learning
Implement blended and digital learning solutions
Drive adoption of modern L&D practices
Ideal Candidate Profile
12–18 years of experience in HR/L&D with strong manufacturing exposure
Proven experience in building L&D COE or leading transformation initiatives
Strong understanding of shop-floor operations and workforce dynamics
Excellent stakeholder management and leadership influencing skills
Experience in leadership development and succession planning
