Key Responsibilities & Job Role
As an Assistant Engineer (SMT), you will be responsible for supporting and optimizing our high-speed SMT manufacturing lines. Your core duties will include:
- SMT Line Management: Overseeing SMT line setup, monitoring performance, and ensuring seamless production flow.
- Process Control: Conducting regular reflow profile checks and ensuring strict adherence to process parameters.
- Team Leadership: Managing shift operations, providing operator training, and ensuring process compliance on the floor.
- Documentation & Reporting: Maintaining ERP documentation, ensuring 100% traceability, and reporting daily production metrics.
- Continuous Improvement: Participating in Kaizen and 5S initiatives to drive efficiency and reduce waste.
Candidate Requirements
- Educational Background: A Diploma in Electronics, Electrical, or Mechatronics Engineering.
- Technical Expertise: 2–3 years of hands-on experience in SMT/PCB assembly specifically within an EMS (Electronic Manufacturing Services) environment.
- Soft Skills: Strong coordination skills, problem-solving ability, and the capacity to handle shift pressures.
